Are you a Self Made Man?

Introduction

Daniel Bryan is a Professional Wrestler and being a fan of WWE and I began to watch him in 2010 on the inaugural episode of NXT. Even he though he wrestled in squash matches even back in 2002 like the match he had against John Cena. The fact that there was a point where he was eliminated and had one of the biggest losing streak and still be ranked number 1 among many of the other NXT Rookies and even showed potential in losing effort matches against WWE Stars like Chris Jericho and even Batista. Even The fellow contestants. It was a privilege seeing him go from being criticized and thinking he was not going to make it to begin his steps to making accomplishments. Michael Cole who was a wrestling commentator and announcer was a huge antagonist to Daniel Bryan calling him a Tool, and not having It factor and Not having Personality. Every match that he lost, Michael Cole would always throw shade and eventually Daniel Bryan said he does not belong in the competition and felt like he should be eliminated due to his shortcoming in matches and also the other person who said should be eliminated should be Michael Tarver who was one of the rookies to beat Daniel Bryan but out of the two the biggest deal of that comment was Daniel Bryan. So after getting his first pin on WWE Show Monday Night Raw leading his team to victory. But unfortunately the following night on NXT he was eliminated. After the elimination it was not the last you saw Daniel Bryan in fact he made another appearance as "WWE management" allowed him to return to NXT and explain why he made the decision to eliminate himself. So he talked about how he learned about the WWE and The "Politics" on how WWE like the Wrestlers that they make and the characters they build. Daniel Bryan Claims that he is a self made man.  As he is not like those Wrestlers in the WWE but he is a very talented one and the best wrestler for the job in the WWE as he also claims as well.

Why did I speak about Daniel Bryan in the intro?

The Title of the Blog "Are you Self Made" Well I will connect the Title with the Intro of when I talked about Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan has started on the WWE NXT Roster has faced challenges and seeing him lose a number of Matches until the Match on Monday the night before he was eliminated. So the fact that he got a pin fall victory the night before his elimination was a huge tune up to prove that he came in knowing the challenges of how The Characters in WWE are developed by the WWE. Also how the WWE has the standards as called "Politics". Where they want the big guys and how they want the wrestlers they make by the machine. Daniel Bryan tries to prove that he is a self-made man and does not have to meet the WWE Political Standards to succeed. So the fact that even 3 months later he even said after him and the fellow NXT Contestants hijacked a wrestling match and attacked everyone in sight and Daniel Bryan Came out and said "You are not better than me!" "You are not Better than Me!" Then dished a Kick to John Cena in the face.

How are you proving to be a Self-Made Man?

Well I always had to take the first step is always check your own Self Esteem, and always show up with self esteem and battle your insecurities. After I was arrested and even had a pending court case I was in a point where I was not as successful as the family friend who was the attorney, or even the workers at my mom's former job or even my brothers who graduated with degrees. Being arrested and being put on the news and then going home after being bailed out of jail. Since many incidents where I faced similar situations I got into I had to continue to battle the criticism, even where my family addressed that I could not be independent and eventually I went from being guilty and defeated to being angry and defensive and all I really did was tell them that I can be independent. So it went beyond how I was attacked my media and officers to battling criticism at home to working on battling myself and my own challenges. What really motivates me and what drives me to push myself to fighting my own limits instead of focusing on THEY I focus on ME. I begin to embrace who I am and how and what I need to do to better myself. FYI one of the steps is to Realize: You are the only one who can control yourself and no one else can control you. As much as you cannot control anyone else.

Being a Self Made man is really embracing who you are and understanding you do not need to be like everyone else, you have an opportunity to be better than everyone else. As I will mention in another post. Seeing How Daniel Bryan at the begging evolve into his own identity and succeed as a Self Made Man. Well I am starting to believe as before I felt I had to be like Everybody else well I am glad I lived the life that I have lived. I am also glad to be who I am especially after battling my own inner battles of do I have to be like everyone else, or even do not have a friendly persona. I have to be mean or rude like everyone else. It was just a mental prison I keep putting myself into where I have to be at everyone elses expectation and even being in the prison of rebellion and anger where I am trapped in everyone dished out negativity and was still tormented by past consequences and . Instead of being self made and take leadership there was a point where I would begin to take control, be laser focused and even take pride and control and gain the killer instinct into defeating your Goliath which is whatever problem is Holding you back. As the Goliath is whatever the world or everyone else's expectation is or who you should be it is about proving to them that you do not need to be who they want you to be or even who they are.

Get Out!....

So this past Halloween I saw this movie Called "Get Out!" And it was a well done one of a kind thriller. Seeing the movie Get Out! Has a significant theory as you watch it, and If you have not Watched it please Check it out. This Movie was a Phenomenon. Seeing Get Out was unlike any other Horror Movie and what made the Movie So Great was The Theme of the Movie and the action in the movie that was so relatable and so worth of what the dialogue. Even the scenes in the Movie and how unusual the scenes look. Seeing the Movie in the Protagonists perspective made it all the worthwhile. The development of the movie was downright impressive.

Why did I Name the Blog Get Out?

Well not only because I saw the Movie Get Out. But just the whole plot of the Movie Had such a great Theme to the movie. So there was a part where he deals with racial confrontation where he was the passenger and his girlfriend was the driver but regardless the Officer asks for his License. Well Not to Spoil the whole movie but the protagonist had a dark past and stuff that cause him to have unusual habits and the depth of the movie where he gets in unusual moments of dealing with his dark guilty past. So The fact that the horror movie directed by comedy actor Jordan Peele turn into one big surprise basically this movie like I said before had one of the biggest theme throughout the plot. As in the next paragraph of the Term Get Out!

What am I trying to get out of?

So as the quarantine has progressed there has been challenges and I have had my challenges to face over the years. Covid-19 has hit so many people even professional athletes and entertainers, on top of that so many shows and games and other occasions were abruptly put on hold as the seriousness of the situation has happened. Where the NCAA March Madness Tournament was cancelled which means the 2020 tournament was non existent. The Olympics was out of the equation so everything operated where things were not in according as we all thought it would be.

So During the Pandemic I had so many challenges in my previous posts that I had explained beforehand and where I went through my own trials and tribulations but however I had moments where I would feel I would never get out. Where we were at the time face evictions or even face restraining orders while were on the verge of finding a new house, and even being on the verge of not getting the house that we live in right now. We can feel like we are in a sunken place and think we can't get out or even have some sort of fight to get out of our issues and challenges. Well all the stuff I went through I eventually got out or I should say we eventually got out. The Challenge of Losing weight in which I began accomplishing and on top of that also dealing with home matters during the quarantine in which I had to get out of and getting out of all of that required perseverance and Mental toughness and not get dragged down by doubt and negativity.
