Remember that you are a Titan

What has been going on?

So we know a lot of controversy has been stirring up and really seems like from 1 problem to another has been on a verge of bringing us down and dragging us into many divisions or factions. First the Pandemic had one of the toughest beginnings where so many events had to be shut down/postponed. And the stay at home orders were heavily intact and all businesses were closed except for essential businesses like Pharmacies, Grocery Stores even Hospitals and Clinics. The products sold there I am sure has been going out of stock especially for those who have been going nuts about the pandemic and especially the stay at home orders. There has been upsides even though there has been a load of downsides to the pandemic and been hoping to get through the whole situation and luckily there has been encouragements from staying healthy as much as possible to having faith and keeping yourself occupied and even having faith, and hearing encouraging songs. Non Essential Workers began facing unemployment and even the economy was going downhill and for sure the beginning was one of the toughest things as there has been a huge push out of our depth. As the protest situation that has been added to the mix of the Pandemic which has led to rioting and even peaceful protests, basically the tales of 2 protests.

The Titan Games

So the Titan Games have been airing during the Pandemic and glad to see some competitive reality shows happen during the pandemic especially with so many sports seasons being put on hiatus or for the most part being in question of the respective seasons even resuming. Seeing the Titan games last year was the first season of the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson installment of the obstacle course show. On top of that when I first heard of the show Titan Games I really was sure it was kinda based on the similar workouts The Rock does. It is really incredulous to see these obstacle courses displayed in the Titan Games show which are the workouts The Rock uses. Seeing how these contestants on the show try to win by mastering those challenges is very intense and very persevering to watch. Overcoming those intense obstacles requires mostly tons and tons of strength and speed at certain obstacle courses. So to see the strength and endurance be involved because of the intensity and even how much the strength and athletic ability it really requires speaks a ton of volumes. Seeing them perform on obstacles trying to win has been a very interesting venture.

The Titan game challenge and what I feel It represents:

As the Obstacle course require strength and a lot of endurance and stamina, every obstacle course does display strength. Depending on the Obstacle Course a certain work in a limb or muscle gets tested, much like how every situation we are in we work on certain areas of our character as a person and how we manage situations that are tough and uncomfortable and strengthen our mindset and mentality even on the toughest situations especially. And for me learning that growing up was definitely not easy. As being the lazy teenager that always has a messy room and does just enough to get by and kinda nor prepared for even the simple pieces of hard working and excellence of Keeping your Room Clean and even cleaning the bathroom with excellence and having to get called out on. For me to still remember and look back on when I had to do the paper route with my brother and I was a very lazy teenager and needed to understand what the real world is about and what real work is about. So the 1st step was definitely doing the Paper Route where we learned if we don't do the job right, there are real consequences and it cost you your paycheck. Or if you do your job right you get rewarded even a tip so I have learned even waking up and coming to work on time and just basically learning what hard work is and what it is about.

Lunar impact:

Is an obstacle course where you climb up a ladder and then you push a huge wall all the way on to the end of the side of your opponent to win the obstacle challenge. The Lunar Impact requires well acceleration climbing up the ladder and even a lot of strength and stamina and if the stamina wears out you need a ton and I mean a ton of perseverance. With Strength too there would be a point where you would want to give up but you don't have to give in you could still find the strength to fight back to win the obstacle challenge.

Incredible Last-Second Lunar Impact Comeback - Titan Games 2019 - YouTube

It shows challenges in many aspects can really drain us especially on challenges we have to get done in order to move forward in our lives. Well there are challenges and even consequences that would tend to push us back but we really have to push back harder especially when we get drained in tired especially in need of a rebound. When I was exercising as I was trying to lose weight I felt like I was on the lunar impact, because I was struggling with my weight progress as it been up and down apparently as my eating habits have been a challenge as it is really the main reason for why my weight has been very high.  I have faced frustration and even felt dragged down and on top of that I was at a point where I felt stuck and wanted to give up or just don't think it is possible to accomplish but the thing that really made me have the urge to fight back well and to fight for the progress I am shooting for I have to push back and make many alternatives and just keep pushing to reach to my results and the progress now feels very rewarding when you finally reach to the level of accomplishment.

Herculean Pull:

Herculean Pull is a challenge where you have to pull 2 separate long steel pipes on the contestants respective sides and then you have to shoot for the Golden Poll and whoever pulls it all the way to the point where it hits the big stone behind you will win the obstacle challenge.

Seeing the two contestants on the latest Episode I saw especially on the fact that they are brothers and their names are Noah and Eric, really speak a ton of volumes on how really into it. I saw Noah compete on the Herculean pull against Eric and then eventually there was a point where Eric was just about to win but Noah managed to fight back and as this was one of the toughest tug of war challenges figuratively and literally where it was a real fight Fight to The Finish.

The Herculean Challenge Really takes a lot of strength as you have to pull 2 steel pipes out before you pull the Big Golden Pole especially with an opponent on the other side fighting for the same poll. I believe in metaphorical term as they get rid of the 2 silver polls, it can be looked at as pulling away the little tasks out the way before accomplishing the final task and the big task towards reaching the final accomplishment or even reaping the big reward. The reward in the Herculean Pull is like I mention is when you pull the big golden pole all way to the stone wall behind you. Reaching the target is the task you aim but the beginning and even in the middle of the run is the real test if you really want it or if you want to stop and give up halfway in the run. The pedaling in the middle of your exercise is where you need to find a ton of self motivation to know that you can win this especially if just at a point where you want to stop but when you dig for perseverance really kicks in then you can find some stamina to reach the finish line. Pushing through the journey and then having the will and confidence to know you will get to the finish line will all be worth it.

The Titan Games: Brothers Noah And Eric Palicia Crank Up The ...

Explaining and Summarizing the Title a bit more:

Had to name a couple of these obstacle courses and planning to do another part of this blog but Being a Titan I feel comes in many shapes and sizes. As you would also know the Movie Remember the Titans about the school getting a black football coach and even beginning a new football system and even an intense training and practice pry for the newly interracial school to be successful. There was a speech where in the Movie by Denzel Washington's character Coach Boone speaking about trying to build a unity and not fight within ourselves and strive to accomplish success and even respect within the team as well. As the respect among other student in the school was a challenge but the challenge was eventually accomplished and it indeed led to success within the school even with other challenges getting thrown at them as well.

As there has been a ton of challenges going on today I believe they can be overcome as you power with the strength within so much can be accomplished. So Just Remember you are a Titan!

Do you believe in Miracles?

So I recently watched the Movie Miracle.  I even remember years before watching it when a friend of mine spoke about the movie and the plot of the movie and the big ending as well. The movie centers around a USA Olympic Team filled with college students as they try out to get on the team. Couch Russell who was down and out himself as a player was really shooting to Excel as a Hockey Coach. So they tried out for the Olympic team as the movie began with some dissention and on top of that there was aggression and even a ton of arrogance as a fight broke out eventually after an attack especially where it happened during a scrimmage. So as their first game began and even during practice they did not seem focus nor playing with energy. As the coach observed them lacking real display of their true potential it led to the his decision as the game ended with a tie they began doing their extra conditioning even as the Maintenance shut down the lights in the arena they continued their extra running until one of the players said they represent the United States of America.

What stood out to me as the movie developed?

The Whole Movie I feel really stood out was really Coach Brooks and the fact that he developed a team of College Athletes representing the whole nation and the fact that it was about building a unity and even pushing themselves to their real potential. There was even a scene where Team USA was facing Team Sweden and they were playing with full disappointment as the Coach was questioning the players on the team if they were quitting or even just giving up. Seeing the Coach's frustration and trying to rejuvenate the team especially where the Coach feels like they are playing the game like it is a preseason game in Rochester. Another clip that stood out to me was when he called out one of the hockey players that had a contusion in his leg (as the coach would call it a "Bruise") which indeed is the actual definition of a contusion. So when the coach called out Mack to get back in the game and play. Quitter and a sissy. Well he indeed really fired him up and challenged him to play with a bruised leg and the player was willing to step up to the challenge it even fired me up as I saw the part when The Coach hollered at The player "Are You A hockey Player?" And Mack shouts replies "I AM A HOCKEY PLAYER, DOES THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY?!" Well it seemed like it was very interesting to see him get pumped up and really glad the Coach fired him up, but if you saw earlier in the scene beforehand the Coach was talking to the Sweden Trainer and the fact that he said it could get get severe and not do much seemed like a very bogus story and led to the coach motivating the team especially Mack who has the bruised leg, and low and behold the whole team was rejuvenated and even led to Team USA tying the Game against Sweden and keeping them alive in the Tournament Race

Stepping Up to the Challenge.

Well I can say this in the beginning of the Movie Miracle, Team USA went against the toughest team in the Olympics The Soviet Union as they were the experience and the More stronger team forgive me for SPOILERS: So as the Newly Formed USA hockey team Went against Soviet Union for the 1st time and were brutally stuffed 10-3 and well there could be a time where you expect them to say oh here we go again we are facing a tough team and have no chance of beating the Soviet union. Well as the coach comes up with a new game plan to overcome the toughest team, of course The Soviet Union, but also being one of the very few guys to count them in especially where there were many others counting them out. So heading into the game they came ready with the coach pumping them up.

So going into the game was the biggest moment they were waiting for and even the fact they did not come intimidated. They Came prepared and with perseverance and hope as they strive to aim for the most impossible victory over the toughest team in the olympics which was The Soviet Union who won 4 gold medals. Well this was the toughest game where it contained endurance and even toughness and resilience. So when I saw the Movie Miracle and then the ending of the Movie where the US finally battles against the Soviet Union they came with a whole different attitude and even a different strategy. When The game began they came aggressive and it immediately paid off as they struck first and then Soviet struck back but they kept fighting throughout the game especially where they played phenomenal defense wait to a point where they persevered all the way to the end to earn the quote from The Commentator Al Michaels, "Do you believe in Miracles?!" Which was one of the biggest moments in Olympic History PERIOD!

What made the movie so Impacting to me?

Well to connect with what is going on now and where the movie connected. The Movie Miracle was about an underdog story where the Olympics took place after the Civil War. The Movie which was based on a REAL Event and Story which indeed happened was one of the best inspirational stories and as the movie Miracle brought inspiration and even Unity of the whole country of the United States of an Olympic Hockey team filled with College Students and amateurs and the fact that the coach put in a lot of work on building the success of this team really displayed in the movie. The Challenge of The Soviet Union whom won 4 gold medals and as USA really did fell short of those medals as well. I feel today we are faced with a challenge of our own Soviet Union especially with the Pandemic going on and then on top of that the Minnesota incident just to really show how much We are facing huge downfall and negativity. Even having the tales of two protesting where one if rioting and looting and another just having a peaceful march. The Miracle I believe is peace can really generate we can let this bring us down and produce doubt or we can have faith that change and positivity can happen out of a tough situation. The negativity and the overwhelming problem that has been added to the pandemic but problems and issues have beat us 10-3. There are so many platforms which Peaceful protests and marching, and even Speaking up on Social Media, and even then What I am doing Blogging and even Talking about this big Taboo Subject which I believe we can beat these issues 4-3 and defend the lead with big endurance and Stamina Much like Team USA did against the Soviet Union 40 years ago, and on top of that I feel there is a Miracle We can believe in.
