So it was been a week or two since I saw the phenomenal Parental Comedy Chick Flick, Bad Moms. The Movie Bad moms revolves around a stressed out overworked Mom who gets frustrated with the same routines from involves dropping off and even picking up their kids from school, taking care of the dog, being successful at a job where she had an absent minded, overbearing boss who doesn't express any or display any gratitude for her, and even being involved in the PTO where she worked with the overbearing leader of the PTO who appears perfect and even have two fellow Comrades one and outgoing single mom whom Kathryn Hahn plays trying to get with guys, and a stay at home mom Kiki played by Kristen Bell with a verbally bossy husband who always orders her to stay home and watch the kids with no helping hand and even accepting it with much dismay from what her new comrades see they encourage her to stand up to him. So as the movie developed she eventually founds from fellow comrades of her own and becomes fed up with her overwhelmed routines and finally decides to abandon her routines and decides to do the routine on her own terms. So as the movie develop she begins to face adversity from the PTO leader and even leading her to challenge her to run against her, as she served an unhealthy desert at the bake sale against the leader's request.
The progression
As the movie progressed there were good and bad of the situations where Mila's Character Amy did took her potential ex-husband's new car for a spin and even gave her kids Arby's instead of making a lunch for them, even down to a point where the kids skip school or even skip practices, by going to massage parlors and spas and even get fed their own food. There were some downfalls and even courage for Amy to stand up to the PTO leader who is Christina Applegate's Character Gwendolyn James who was aiming for perfection or even just displaying perfection. Well you're in it for a fight and apparently it really seems like stuff was going down, from getting benched on the soccer team to even getting kicked off the team, reason being is Her fellow PTO foe stuffed a drug in her daughter's locker after having a rival party against her and successfully stealing all her guests and even Martha Stewart jumped ship to her party as well. Even having her son start to developing more independence. So her kids end up mad and turning against her and even them moving in with her soon to be ex-husband whom she end up having a filed marriage counseling session that led to the counselor saying getting a divorce may be the best option. So she eventually was completely down in the dumps after that and even led to her fellow friends to giving the courage to stand up to her to fight back against Gwen sabotaging her own child and her joy of extracurricular activities. Eventually one of Amy's friends who is suffering under her controlling husband finally stood up to her husband saying I am going to this PTO meeting, and even told her to man up and do the work that she has been ordering her to do, luckily it paid off, and on top of that even Amy finally speaking at the PTO Run which really seek rewards at the end.
Two of the moments in the movie that really stood out to me?
The Character of Kristen Bell who usually has to stay home with the kids with no assistance whatsoever ordered by her husband. The beginning of the movie really explains the moms and their individual challenges. But I felt Kiki (Kristen Bell's character) is a stressed out mom who was admired by how Amy Stood up to Gwendolyn and her authoritative PTA bake sale plan to have the most healthiest bake sale possible. Kiki I felt had a great story without her having to have a physical abusive husband but however still have a very bossy husband was a bit brutal already as is especially the fact that they have multiple little children which they constantly cry. The Part where she finally stood up to her husband was very interesting and was a great spark up to the end.
Another Big part which was the main part as I explained earlier of Amy's challenges especially when she stood up to the PTO leader as one of the biggest things she did out of courage, as the PTO speech did led to her understanding not everything has to be perfect because we are not perfect people, and understand we are going to make mistakes, luckily as she spoke the whole crowd was moved by her speech as she won by a landslide. As Amy did win the PTO election and leading her opponent Gwen in tears and seeing how her life behind the PTO was a mess. Alongside of abandoning her routine and refusing to go to work and even eventually losing her job, but the business went downhill after her boss firing her, lead her boss to be begging her to return and even give her a raise and finally being humbled and in which Amy was rewarded as well. Even Her daughter getting back on the team and her son developing more independence so a lot has amended alongside her boyfriend beginning her official relationship.
I felt whatever we feel is abusing us or myself I may say can be tough whether it is a tough past you're trying to free yourself from can be very abusive. Or even criticism and doubt that is abusing you whether it is someone else or even yourself that tells you you are not good enough or you can't do it, or even you are not good at this do something else that you're good at but however they or yourself have no idea you can be good at it or even how much faith you have in yourself and more faith than anyone has faith in you especially. In which in this case during the pandemic I did the biggest challenge in which losing weight was the biggest challenge for me as everytime I go out especially where I go to functions and food is served and can really hurt my weight progress as I struggle with willpower. So as we can't really go out and were stuck home with mostly grocery food and even cooked food i had to make the best and really put my weight progress really in challenge and say you know what during this pandemic I have an opportunity to lose the weight in which I have struggling to do or even shoot for at first it was really hard but then eventually I had to keep pushing because the frustration in me that wants to quit I channel it and really say you know what I will defeat this challenge and emerge victorious and continue winning. When you have the "I refuse to lose" Attitude, you can overcome the odds and on top of that even persevere through the challenge and even seek the rewards and growth from the perseverance.
